PTMC - On The Fritz E.P. is a forthcoming release scheduled to launch July 24th on Midnight Elevator. The collection of tracks explores the tension between technology, humanity and the delicate balance it serves as a potential saviour or destroyer of our world. The E.P. begins with On The Fritz, a broken beat electro workout invoking malfunctioning electronics. Named after a Thelonious Monk quote that perfectly depicts the atmosphere of club music; Always At Night, Otherwise They Wouldn’t Need The Light (Energy) infuses this sound with breaks and UK Funky percussive stylings. Neuron Portal imagines the listener rewiring the neural pathways in their brain in a transhumanist attempt to transcend our limitations Gigi’s theme combines all of these ideas into a journey of astral proportions.
